The Open Source Medicine Foundation is an independent research organization dedicated to advancing rigorous, transparent science on Post-Acute COVID-19 Vaccination Syndrome (PACVS) and related post-viral illnesses — through three focused strategic pillars.
Following my tenure as Director of Scientific Research at the Independent Medical Alliance, I have stepped down to continue the mechanistic PACVS research program I built — now advancing independently under the Open Source Medicine Foundation.
This program encompasses diagnostic frameworks, metabolic modulation strategies, and the published ViTAL-SCAN19 trial protocol. It was also cited in the official ACIP memo (February 2026), reflecting the scientific rigor and policy relevance of this work.
The program now moves forward with a clear, focused direction — organized around three strategic pillars designed to generate the mechanistic evidence and clinical data the field urgently needs.

Using dengue as a natural model, we are establishing a longitudinal −80°C biobank in Honduras. Blood samples will undergo biophysical analyses to identify shared mechanisms between dengue-induced post-viral syndromes and PACVS — creating a foundational resource for mechanistic discovery.
In collaboration with leading clinicians, we are developing formal consensus diagnostic criteria and standardized outcome measures for PACVS — bringing clarity, legitimacy, and clinical utility to a field that urgently needs them.
We are advancing the published ViTAL-SCAN19 metabolic modulation trial protocol and related therapeutic strategies to generate rigorous clinical evidence — moving from mechanistic insight to actionable treatment options.
All major projects are tracked by pillar. High-level spending summaries and impact reports will be published regularly. We believe donors and collaborators deserve to know exactly how contributions are used and what progress is being made.
